Did you know... there's a fun and easy way to keep your cat happy and occupied and keep your furniture intact?
Cat owners know that "the struggle is real!" LoL Our little fur balls come to our lives and give us so much happiness but also so many headaches. When Wednesday was a kitten she discovered pretty quickly the art of destroying my furniture and it was so frustrating, I had no idea how to stop her from scratching our furniture, it got to the point that I even thought about having someone else adopt her. I loved her so much so I decided to find a solution. I sat down and had a talk with her, Yes I do talk to my cat. I think that through that cosmic web that hold us together I was able to almost understand what she was feeling. I felt deep inside that she was trying to tell me that she felt lonely and bored when I left the house and decided to play around with my furniture as an outlet. I said to myself "what is the one thing cats love the most" and the answer was pretty clear: boxes! I decided to make her life more interesting and started to pile boxes for her. She responded very well to the boxes and instantly became her favorite place to hang out. I saw on pinterest a few cardboard designs for kids and decided to try them out. She is so happy and she has not touched the furniture once since I started creating these cardboard box designs for her. I put her toys in them and hang a few other ones on the boxes, that keeps her busy while I am gone for the day. Here are a few designs I created for her. If you have a little one that is giving you headaches remember that cats are like toddlers in a way, they like to play and sleep all day. Try a few designs, there is no right or wrong when creating them for your little one. Hope this inspires you and helps you with your little kitty.
